The Alabama Branch of Light 4 Kidz hosted a neighborhood toiletries and hygiene products drive during the week of September 24-30th, receiving donations from nearly 20 households. Collecting over 1,000 products in total, the donations were taken to Grace Klein Community, a charitable nonprofit that distributed the toiletries to individuals in need.

Light 4 Kidz was able to donate 40 pounds (18.14 kg) of toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, soap, menstrual products, baby wipes, etc. to keep those in need healthy and safe. In the future, Anusha Singh, the AL State Head, plans to mobilize surrounding neighborhoods in her community to meaningfully help others. Thank you, Anusha!
